Actress Daniella Perez, murdered in 1992, would have turned 55 in August this year
The author of the novel Gloria Perez used his Instagram profile this Sunday 28 to talk about the 33rd anniversary of the death of his daughter, Daniella Pérez. In the post, she shares photos of her daughter and talks about the pain of loss.
“So much desire to live, so much joy, so many dreams… what a beautiful life you had ahead of you… Today you are 33 years old.”, he wrote.
She even reflected on what it was like to deal with loss all these years. “I repeat: time does not soothe anything, it passes, just as pain teaches nothing, it only hurts,” he lamented. Murdered when she was only 22, Daniella will be 55 in 2025.

This affair shocked the country
The Daniella Pérez affair shocked Brazil in 1992, when the actress was murdered by her co-star Guilherme de Pádua and his then-wife, Paula Thomaz.
At the time, Daniella was starring in the soap opera Of body and soulwritten by his mother. The crime had a national repercussion, mobilizing public opinion.
The case returned to the forefront in 2022 with the release of Brutal Pact – The Murder of Daniella Perezon HBO Max. The series brought together moving testimonies from Perez, parents, friends and actor Raul Gazolla, the young woman’s then-husband.
