The end of the year is high season in Trancoso, a region with heavenly beaches in Porto Seguro, on the south coast of Bahia. And one of the busiest airports for private flights in the region is already “closed”. Terravista Airport, which operates by appointment only, reported via Instagram that it has exhausted its capacity for night planes and landing slots until January 4, 2026.

The airport is closest to the Trancoso district, approximately 10 km from the city center. The site has a 1,500 x 30 m asphalt runway and accommodates business jets as well as charter flights for up to 100 passengers.
The destination is a celebrity favorite for New Year’s Eve. Brazilian Real Madrid player Vini Jr. and his influencer girlfriend Virgínia Fonseca are there. They closed the Jacumã reserve, one of the most popular in Trancoso, to celebrate the end of the year and the summer holidays. The hotel is located on Jacumã beach, next to Praia do Espelho.
