During the day at Atlantis The Royal, the Catalan company presented a total of eight trophies linked to different departments and protagonists of the club, in the presence of club president Joan Laporta, players and board members. Laporta remarked about the German coach’s award: “Hansi showed a winning spirit and we were able to win a highly competitive league; the standard of our players was spectacular,” said the Globe Soccer Awards organization.
Lamine Yamal became one of the most statistically relevant protagonists of the evening. The number 10 player was named best U23 player and best striker of the season and received the Maradona Award for the most outstanding goal. During his speech, he noted: “Now I feel more pressure to be an important player for my club, but everything went well. I want to continue on my path and not compare myself with other footballers,” said the screening agency for the event.
