MP Júlia Zanatta (PL-SC), an ally of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), criticizes the quality of the responses sent by the government to the requests for information it filed throughout 2025 to question ministries on subjects ranging from agriculture to the rights of children and adolescents.
Zanatta has filed a total of 72 requests to ministries such as Communications, Finance, Human Rights, Defense and Health, among others. Among them, ten are still within the response time frame. Of the remainder, 61 received a response, while one did not receive a response.
According to the parliamentarian, of the 61 respondents, 32 were “satisfactory”, clarifying doubts. The others were not satisfactory, says the MP.
“During Bolsonaro’s presidency, Lula shouted all the time that there was a lack of transparency. But this was enough to overthrow the government and turn requests for information into mockery,” he criticizes.
“My office asks the question and the Executive responds with an empty answer, without a number, without a document, without verifying anything. It’s a joke. It’s the Lula government that lies in its propaganda, pretending to be democratic and transparent, while hiding the information, protecting the ministry and treating Parliament and the citizen like idiots,” he said.
