A resident of Vicente Pires (DF) experienced moments of terror after seeing his house invaded by a man around 2 a.m. on Saturday (27/12), when he was tied up in a room, hanged and beaten until 5 a.m.
The victim, aged 55, is hospitalized in serious condition in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Santa Marta Hospital. The criminal has not yet been identified and is being sought by law enforcement.
At MetropolisesA relative of the family, who preferred not to be identified, said the victim was found by family members on Saturday around 4 p.m.
She said the man was delirious from shock, suffered two skull fractures and was being treated with morphine due to severe pain.
According to the report, the attacks escalated after the suspect realized the man’s daughter was a police officer and began looking to see if there were weapons inside the home.
Still according to the witness, the medical team assesses the need for surgical intervention given the seriousness of the clinical condition. She also reported that when the sedative effect begins to wear off, the victim asks for a knife to cut the rope with which she was tied.

Initially, family members thought he was dead, due to the severity of his injuries. “From what little he could say, it seems like he woke up to the criminal already trying to hang him. And how he’s taking sleeping pills, things like that. That’s probably why he didn’t hear,” he said.
The woman also reported that the attacker even wore the victim’s clothes. Security camera footage shows the suspect leaving the scene with a striped coat belonging to the resident, after having blood on his own blouse during the attacks.

The case
The man broke into the residence where he lived with his wife in the early hours of Saturday (27/12), in Vicente Pires (DF). The torture and attacks lasted until 5 a.m. Reports indicate the man has a facial deformity.
According to the Federal District Military Police (PMDF), during the invasion of the residence, the individual was surprised by the victim, at which point they got into a physical fight. The man was unable to restrain the perpetrator and suffered several bodily injuries.
Given the seriousness of the case, the Military Firefighters of the Federal District (CBMDF) were called, provided pre-hospital care and sent the victim to the Santa Marta Hospital.
