After the meeting of December 22, this January 6 the Three Wise Men arrive charged with 770 million euros with the Extraordinary Children’s Draw. It’s not the 2,770 million from the Christmas lottery, but El Niño is a new opportunity to catch up and start 2026 with great joy.
And be careful, because There are 37,920 numbers that will have a price in the 2026 Children’s Lottery. More than double the winning numbers in the Christmas draw. Of course, the prices are a little lower.

The “assessment” of the children’s draw prizes from the Treasury
As for the rest of the prizes of other draws, the Tax Agency imposes 20% on amounts above 40,000 euros. Therefore, only the first and second prizes of the Lotería del Niño must be declared to the Treasury.
Remember that the first 40,000 euros are tax exempt. The calculation must therefore be made by subtracting this amount from the price amount. In other words, of the 200,000 euros of the First Prize, only 160,000 must be taxed at 20%.
Another aspect to take into account is that if the tenth allocated to the Gordo del Niño, for example, is shared between several people, the Treasury tax must be distributed in proportion to the amount of money to be distributed.
