Investors continue to monitor negotiations for a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine. US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky were “very close” to a deal to end the country’s war, which has weighed on defense sector shares in Europe.
