Discovery Channel presenter Chad Ollinger has been charged with the murder of a cellmate in a Las Vegas prison, US. The 41-year-old star runs the reality show The Mystery of Blind Frog Farm and is in prison for contempt of authority and fleeing to another state.
The indictment was released by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. According to the press release, the victim was found “lying and without signs of movement” in the cell he shared with Ollinger last Friday evening (12/26).

The man was treated by medical teams after being located by prison officers, but died at the scene. The homicide division names Ollinger as the prime suspect because only two of them occupied the cell and were believed to have been involved in a recent fight. The identity of the victim has not been released.

According to the TMZ website, Chad Ollinger has been in prison since October 27, awaiting trial for contempt of authority and fleeing to another state. In 2024, he was also arrested while trying to escape a police raid, but was released after posting bail.
Airing since 2021, the reality show starring Ollinger and his father follows investigations into the mysteries of Blind Frog Farm, Utah, a place surrounded by rumors of alien apparitions and hidden treasures.
