
After the departure of idol Thiago Silva, Fluminense rushed into the ball market and signed for the defensive sector. Monday evening (29/12), the club used social networks and announced the arrival of Jemmes, a 25-year-old defender who played for Mirassol.

For Leão Caipira, the defender remained throughout the 2025 season. He entered the field for Campeonato Paulista and Campeonato Brasileiro. Jemmes made 37 appearances for Brasileirão and found the net twice, against Internacional and Botafogo.
Born in Rosário Oeste, Mato Grosso, the player began his career in the youth teams of Taquaritinga, in São Paulo. Over the years he played for other teams in the state, defending Capivariano, Rio Branco and União Suzano. He also played for Athletic-MG and Vila Nova-GO.
Wearing the Fluminense jersey, Jemmes will participate in important competitions in 2026: Campeonato Carioca, Brasileirão, Copa Libertadores da América and Copa do Brasil. Before being announced by Tricolor, he said goodbye to Mirassol.
