Singer Lexa opens her heart in a burst on social media and reveals she kept her promise by giving birth to her daughter
The latter part of 2025 brought deep spiritual significance to Lexa. Through her social networks, she published records mixing current joy and past pain, showing that mourning gave way to hope and gratitude.
The invitation to the delivery room
The story of this journey began in February this year, with the premature birth of Sofia. Amid the severity of her pre-eclampsia, Lexa sought strength in hope and extended an unusual invitation to her doctor, Dr. Camila Martin, still on the operating table.
“While I was in the delivery room, I looked at my doctor and said, ‘everything is fine, we’re going to spend Christmas in Orlando, nice with Sosso and it’ll be really cool… are you up for it?’‘”, recalled the singer in the caption of the publication.
Unfortunately, Sofia did not survive and died a few days after her birth, which forced Lexa, for a while, to give up on her project. However, she reported that she felt her heart recovering: “God, ever loving, brought joy to my heart…and everything changed!”
Time for prayer and family cohesion
Shared records show that the promise was fulfilled in an expanded manner. Lexa brought her entire family to Orlando and was accompanied by Dr. Camila and her family. Among the photos of fun in the parks, one moment caught our attention: Lexa and the doctor gathered in prayer at the Blessed Sacrament, in a local church.
The trip symbolizes not only the fulfillment of a given word, but the end of a year of trials for “Sapequinha”. By appearing smiling and surrounded by love, Lexa demonstrates that Sofia’s memory continues to live on, now like a light that guides her steps towards a new beginning.
