Chapecoense is already taking action behind the scenes to strengthen the squad with a view to its return to Serie A. Among the priorities, the left back appears to be one of the planning axes.
Chapecoense evaluates the market and observes Bruno Pacheco
The information obtained indicates that the name of Bruno Pacheco, currently in Fortaleza, is on the radar of the Alviverde board of directors. The player pleases the technical committee, but so far no official proposal has been sent to the Ceará club, which is awaiting more concrete progress before moving forward in negotiations.
Salary and financial compensation slow down progression
Even if there is no immediate resistance to the athlete’s possible departure, Fortaleza is cautious. The main obstacle concerns the left-back’s salary, considered high for Chapecoense’s current budget. Furthermore, the northeastern club does not intend to release the player without receiving appropriate financial compensation, which requires further adjustments and negotiations between the parties.
Other options remain on board’s radar
While monitoring Bruno Pacheco’s situation, the Chapecoense Football Department maintains alternative plans. One of them is Marcelo Hermes, who has not yet returned to Criciúma and still has an indefinite future on the market. Another closely watched name is Igor Cariús, who also did not present himself to Sport and appears as a third alternative for the position.
