The famous mechanic Juan José, in his official official profile of TikTok@talleresebenezer, explained a recommendation to face the coldest months of the year, especially in areas where there are increased risk of snowfall and getting behind the wheel could turn into a real nightmare.
The automotive professional highlighted the use of “the chains” in front of a specialized snow tire: “For me, the snow tire, no matter how much it has this indicator, will never replace the chains in the car.”

Juan José explained that, to face a snowfall, the safest thing is to do it with a “chain game”: “My recommendation is to always bring a game inside because you don’t really know if you’ll ever face snowfall while driving.”
In turn, he mentioned that many drivers think that a set of snow tires would be enough to get out of this situation, but the mechanic once again emphasized the importance of chains: “I have no excuse of “if the tire is for snow, I don’t need chains”. Chains will always grip more than just a tire. »
