Ed Gama surprised his followers this Monday (12/29) by revealing a significant physical change throughout this year. In one year, the comedian and influencer lost 25 kilos after adopting new habits and prioritizing his health. He shared a video comparing the beginning and end of the year, highlighting the results obtained with discipline and professional support.
“I started the year like this, I end the year like this,” Ed wrote in the caption of the publication, which shows two distinct moments: in the first, at the start of the runs in the gym; in the second, with a visibly slimmer body.
Playing the sport began as part of healing from a knee injury, but eventually became the turning point in a broader transformation.

Ed Gama makes fun of the separation of Zé Felipe and Virginia: “The pressure is off”
In a recent interview with gshow, the comedian detailed the process. “I had a damaged knee and I went to the gym to recover it. When I started running, I started losing weight. As I lost weight, I went to the nutritionist, combining the useful with the pleasant,” he said.
According to Ed Gama, the weight loss intensified from the second semester. “From July to now, I lost 10kg and it became more noticeable. People started commenting, saying I had weight loss surgery, but it was ‘hard work’ in the gym and in my diet,” he said.

He also stressed that the decision to change was not motivated by aesthetic reasons. The warning came after health conditions including high blood pressure, prediabetes and even gout were discovered. “I said, ‘No, I can’t. I’m too young to go through this!’. Then I decided to change my life and I’m happy,” he said.
In addition to the physical benefits, Ed Gama highlighted the positive impact on mental health. “The main benefit, besides recovering my knee and being able to walk without pain, is what it does to my head. It takes away depression, gives me courage and more vigor to live,” he concluded.
