As part of the Blue November campaign, a month for the prevention and control of prostate cancer, the Office of the Public Defender of the Federal District (DPDF) will offer free services to people in vulnerable situations, next Tuesday and Wednesday (11/18 and 11/19), from 8 am to 2 pm, in front of the National Library, on Esplanada dos Ministérios.
In an event that will combine dispute resolution procedures and the promotion of citizenship and self-esteem, the DPDF will provide legal services, hair cutting, snack distribution, guidance on alimony, paternity recognition and health services.
DPDF Chief Special Adviser and Quarta do Cidadão Coordinator, Celso Murillo de Brito, comments that the project, which provides services at certain intervals, is a great helper to take immediate action for those in need: “Every service provided represents a changing story – whether in recognition of paternity, access to healthcare or simply listening to those who are looking for guidance and respect.”
