The Caixa Econômica Federal admitted, on Wednesday evening (31), a delay in the live broadcast of the Mega da Virada 2025 draw. The special competition, whose prize is estimated at R$ 1 billion, began after the close of betting, at 8 p.m., but the announcement of the numbers drawn did not take place at the initially scheduled time, at 10 p.m.

According to the Na Rede Oficial channel, there were technical problems during the transmission of the result. According to the YouTube channel, the institution also informed that the draw is carried out through official Internet channels and that any delay does not affect the validity of the competition. In addition, for the first time, the result will not be broadcast on television.
Expectations for the biggest prize in history
Mega da Virada 2025 brings together the largest prize pool ever offered by Brazilian lotteries. The estimated value of 1 billion reais has attracted millions of bettors across the country, who are now waiting for the definition of the six draws drawn.
As in all editions of the special competition, the prize is not cumulative. If no bet matches all six numbers, the amount will be split between the correct answers in the corner.
