A woman’s noble gesture of giving a home to a dog seemingly abandoned to its fate on a Bogota street triggered a headache due to the dog’s unexpected behavior in its new home.
The visibly affected rescuer turned to the TikTok platform and asked users for help looking for a temporary home for the dog he rescued from a city park.

The incident occurred on December 20, 2025, when the woman, identified on the social network only by her username, reported that the animal had followed her and she decided to provide it with food, water and shelter in her home.

The woman explained that while the animal was docile in her care, it “started biting people” the day after she brought it home.

As the hours passed, the situation worsened. The user said the dog had already bitten ten people, including members of her family and a neighbor in the area, raising growing concerns. “There are already ten people he bites… and no one helps me, no one gives me a solution. I wrote to animal protection and they told me that the only thing they could help me with was publication,” the woman said through tears.
Since there were no alternatives, the woman tried to contact the fire department, but they did not accept the animal and later went to the police. Eventually she was referred to animal protection organizations, who only offered her the opportunity to make the case public.
The person concerned expressed his dismay at the suggestion of resorting to euthanasia, an option which he rejects. “I don’t know what to do because it’s already unbearable… They told me the only thing I could do was put him to sleep. But I don’t want to leave him like that, I want someone to help him,” he said in the recording.
In the same video, the user pointed out that her intention was always to help the dog: “It makes me very sad because I rescued him to help him and now I can’t have him anymore… That’s why I want you to help me with the dog. He eats well, he’s very sensible, he doesn’t do any harm or anything, the only thing is that he bit everyone.”
