Eta has been the greatest threat to democracy

There is not a single reference to ETA, nor to the sacrifices of the security forces and the armed forces in defense of freedoms, in the Basque program “Spain, 50 Years of Freedom”, an initiative aimed at the Francoist government to divert attention. … He ignored the imprint of the transformation based on consensus and dialogue among the Spaniards. The fiftieth anniversary commemoration of the restoration of democracy, spoiled by its frontal character, hits rock bottom with a project designed specifically for oblivion and erasure dictated by nationalism, if not the heirs of ETA themselves, the most loyal partners of the executive, around the story of terror and extortion in which the cabal played a starring role. If there is a threat to freedom, it is ETA, which promotes a slide toward totalitarianism led by the government and its partners. Deliberate ignorance through a project that brings back the victims of our democracy and distorts history and memory.
