After a turbulent start to the year for Mor Rial with her arrest, brief release and subsequent return to prison on non-compliance charges, the young woman’s situation has become tense again in the last few hours. His lawyer, Martin Leroux, expressed deep concern about his client’s emotional state.
“I did not see Morena well. She is not well. Her condition is very bad in the place,” he said, describing the scenario of extreme pain that the young woman is experiencing. Leroux also confirmed that a comprehensive evaluation had been requested: “An analysis of his emotional and economic condition has been requested. The situation is very sensitive.”
Leroux also revealed an incident that particularly affected her during her last visit: “When she arrived, Morena was shocked and cried because she was talking to her father,” noting that the family bond is still a sensitive point for her.
One of the points that most worries those around him is the possibility that Moore might lose possession of his youngest son, Amadeo. The next few weeks will be crucial in determining whether justice moves in this direction.
She is currently housed at Penal Unit No. 51 in Magdalena, facing a charge of aggravated robbery, a crime that could result in a sentence of up to four years.
She is in a shared cell in a ward where she lives with Florencia Ibáñez, one of the convicts of Florencio Varela’s triple murder. Their lawyer explained: “They are friends, not colleagues. They are two different cases and crimes, but both are in custody.”
