A missing 60-year-old man was found dead in a building downtown. His family had filed a complaint to investigate his whereabouts on November 5.
The body was found Sunday in the elevator shaft of a building on 48th Street between 8th and 9th Streets. According to preliminary investigations, everything indicates that it was a suicide, as witnesses stated that the man, named Marcelo Aldo Rodriguez, left a farewell letter days before his disappearance.
The cause was classified as suicide and was left to the charge of Public Prosecutor Álvaro Garganta, President of UFI No. 11. The Scientific Police, in collaboration with personnel from the First Police Station and the Patrol Command, surveyed the scene.
