Hugo Motta and Gilmar Mendez They traveled together on a FAB plane to participate in “Gilmarpalooza,” a legal forum organized by the STF Minister, in Buenos Aires.
The flight requested to support the President of the Chamber left Brasilia on November 5 with 10 passengers on board. But the list was not published, as in other cases. According to the Air Force, the flight was requested “for security reasons” and therefore the list of people on board was not revealed.

Under a decree issued in 2020 regarding the air transportation of authorities on Air Force aircraft, it is up to the requesting party to provide clarifications about the list of passengers who accompanied the authority on the trip.
In fact, this is not the first time that the Chamber President has moved from FAB to Gilmarpalooza. In July, Motta used a plane to transport himself and offered to deliver to other authorities, such as Arthur Lira (PP-AL), as described in Malu Gaspard’s column at the time.
Unlike him, Gilmard, Alexandre de Moraes and Luis Roberto Barroso (STF president at the time) traveled on commercial flights.
