Isabella Santoni He lives a stage of conscious immersion in his creation. After playing roles that distinguished her artistic maturity, such as the role of Vivian in the movie “Dom” (Prime Video) and the heroine of the novel Catarina in the theatrical production of “O Cravo ea Rosa,” the actress turned to studying what happens behind the cameras. She participated in script meetings, supervised the filming, and just produced and directed the short film “Concertamos Tudo”.
- Aline Rosa talks depression, empowerment, and a new venture“I believe in the transformation that music can bring.”
- Wanessa Camargo reveals her greatest act of self-love: “Assuming my transformations, including the most painful ones.”
This artistic incursion does not represent a departure from representation, but rather an expansion of perspective.
“The foray behind the scenes changes my perception of the craft, because I understand the perspective of production that supports what appears on screen. On set, we, the actors, often feel that we do not have the ideal time to build the scene; but, from the point of view of the producer, we understand the urgency of that final stage, the performance itself. In this context, the word, the gesture and the diction must reach an already mature set, with padding and density, in order to avoid failure and waste in the production. perspective, I realized that my mind expanded dramatically.”

For Isabella, ideas are born from experience. Nature, travel, reading, and everyday life serve as fuel for creativity. She observes the world carefully, always searching for rhythm, color and gesture. He looks for inspiration not only in abstractions, but also in the concrete and imperfect.
“The biggest inspiration comes from life itself, especially when I can travel,” he says. “Traveling is good for me: changing environments, learning about other cultures, trying new flavours, meeting different people, smelling other scents. It is something that always stimulates creativity.”
Isabella’s process is more disciplined than spontaneous. The artist alternates between periods of immersion and withdrawal, without romanticizing creative blocks. When the mind stops, move the body, read and notice your surroundings:
“In moments of creative block, I tend to interrupt the flow and dedicate myself to some fun activity, like surfing, for example, or something I haven’t tried before. This break creates space for the mind to breathe, get distracted from the new and rediscover the creative impulse through the experience itself.”

Given her passion for interpretation, Isabella now also seeks to master narrative structure. She lives a moment of contemplation and refinement: between the set and behind the scenes, she creates the artist who thinks about the scene before executing it. The next step, her work as producer of the short film, should reveal this synthesis: the sensitivity of the actress guides the precision of the creator.
“The idea for this short film came during my recent participation in Fashion Week. At the Trussardi brand event, a cocktail party was held inside the cinema, where they presented a short film about the brand itself, inspired by The Gentle Society, their logo. I saw an interesting opportunity there: art approaching advertising in a creative way, able to generate communication through stories. I returned to Rio with the desire to produce a short film in the same style, but conveying the messages of the company I am part of as creative director, Arkt, which was going through a rebranding process. We were planning “To hold a conference and a cinematic launch, I thought the best way to tell the story of this campaign would be in an inspiring way, through a short film.”
