With a Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) pin on his lapel, Leri Diez entered the stadium after 5 p.m. and for – due to a technical fault – an hour and a half. He answered questions from the prosecutor and Judge W … His defense To confirm that he does not recognize audio recordings in which he is heard offering judicial services in exchange for sensitive information from judges, prosecutors and Civil Guard commanders, and to admit to two meetings with Santos Cerdán in April 2024 informing him that the PSOE was a victim in several court cases.
According to the legal sources in her statement consulted by ABC, the former socialist militant indicated that she only met the head of government, Pedro Sánchez, at rallies and at some initial events, and denied that she had ever worked or been paid by the Socialists or that she had been Cerdán’s “right-hand man”, as can be heard in one of the audio recordings.
Regarding the meetings with Cerdan when he was still secretary of the organization of the Socialist Workers Party, he stated before the judge that he had achieved those meetings thanks to the mediation of journalist Patricia Lopez and that the person who was interested was the businessman Javier Pérez Dolcet, who is also being investigated in the case. But he stressed again that he had no contact with Cerdan.

On the other hand, he focused on the fact that he had been exposed to a hack in Google Drive (a cloud tool that allows documents to be shared between multiple users) that he used with Pérez Dolcet, a fact that he shared in the hearing room, noting that both files they found had been thrown there.
For his part, Pérez Dolcet added in his statement that the April 2024 meeting was also attended by Antonio Hernando, who is now Secretary of State for Communications and Digital Infrastructure, and other people, as many as nine others. This coincides with the fact that these meetings were exactly in the same month in which Sanchez’s period of reflection occurred after his wife, Begonia Gomez, was accused of
As for the rest, Pérez Dolcet maintained the line drawn up by Diez and did not acknowledge the audio recordings, pointing out that, in his experience, they were forged, but he explained that those meetings took place and that he sought to present to the PSOE the audio recordings recorded by Commissioner José Manuel Villarejo, which influenced the party.
However, with regard to one of the episodes recorded in the recording of the meeting between him and Lier Diez with Alejandro Hamelin – investigated by the National Court – and the lawyer Jacobo Tigello (among others), he clarified the prosecutor’s questions about whether the plumber said that the plaintiffs were “travelers” and that they could travel to Dubai to meet him and reach an agreement that Lier Diez was “bossy” and a bit of a ghost.
Bullets, target
Both Diez and businessman Pérez Dolcet testified on Monday before the judge regarding crimes of influence peddling and bribery in the various meetings they held in search of materials with which to attack, among other things, the leadership of the Central Operations Unit (UCO) of the Guardia Civil, Antonio Pallas, who leads various investigations affecting the environment of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
In one of those audio recordings recorded by Stampa, Pérez Dolcet and Diez can be heard explaining that they received the president’s order to “clean without limits” after the accusations against his wife, Begonia Gomez, emerged.
“Life goes on until the accusations against Begonia (Gomez), the president’s wife, came to light in April last year,” the businessman explains to Stampa in the recording seen by this newspaper, after which he states that Lere Diez then asked him about the materials that had been handed over to Internal Affairs. “Then she (Leer) went back to her house there (referring to the Socialist Workers Party) and said, ‘Look, there’s all this,’ and then the president actually said, clean it all up. Purify yourself without limits. “The police who falsify reports abroad, the prosecutors who hide evidence abroad, the men who fabricate cases abroad, the politicization of the judicial system…” Pérez Dolcet explained. In the midst of this list of things, plumber Perez Dolcette qualified by noting that the president had given her the direct order: “Clean yourself up.”
