Los Mossos d’Esquadra has opened an investigation to clarify the death of a woman last night in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona). The city’s urban guard detained the victim’s son, who died in the hospital, on charges of taking him to the balcony. Catalan police are now working to determine what happened in the municipality next to Barcelona.
The incident occurred just before dawn, when the woman rushed from a balcony onto a floor located on Llobregat de L’Obretalet Street. Initially, the woman was taken to Bellvitge Hospital in serious condition, where she finally died in the early hours of the morning.
The Guardia Urbana de L’Hospitalet detained the victim’s son instead of his children, on charges of taking his mother from the balcony. The investigation has now been undertaken by the Mossos d’Esquadra, who are assembling tests to determine what happened. The probate judge was informed of the woman’s death.
