
Metro Line 9-Esmeralda encountered problems on Tuesday (11/18) between Autodromo and Jorbatuba stations, in the southern region of São Paulo.
According to ViaMobilidade, which runs the line, train movement is taking place on one track – trains from different directions running on the same track – due to a problem in the air network.

Buses from the Emergency Intercarrier Assistance Scheme (Paese) have been recalled to serve the extension.
Passengers complained on social media about the impact on the flight. “I’ve been on the street since 4am and still can’t get to work,” one user wrote on X. Another said: “Now I have to spend two hours on the bus.”
Other lines of the São Paulo train and metro system were operating normally on Tuesday morning.
