The lecture “Hortência: Lessons from Life” will be held on November 25, at 7:30 p.m., in Rio de Janeiro.
With a career that spanned generations, Hortensia won silver at the Atlanta Olympics (1996), gold at the 1994 World Cup and numerous titles that made her one of the biggest names in international sport. On and off the court, her story has always been marked by her competitive spirit, ability to reinvent herself and the determination that turned her into a national icon.
