The Falkland Islands Government’s Office of Business Services and Development is inviting the public to attend a series of sessions to provide updated information on matters relating to the Port Replacement Project.

Members of the Falklands Government Port Replacement Team will be present and open to respond and discuss the proposed plans, as well as provide an overview of the project and respond to any questions raised.

These informative sessions will take place in the Harbor Lights Conference Room on the following dates,

Tuesday, October 28th, between 10:00 am and 5:30 pm, and

Wednesday, October 29th, between 10am and 5:30pm.

Let us add that the issue of Port Replacement, FIPASS, has generated controversy in the Malvinas, as a result of several frustrated initiatives regarding the hiring of a company responsible for the construction of the new port terminal, therefore the debate will be intense.
