Federal MP Nicolas Ferreira (PL-MG) is expected to participate in an event with state MP Anna Campagnolo (PL-SC) in Santa Catarina next Friday (21/11), amid the right-wing crisis in the state. According to the Minas Gerais state parliament, this is the launch of a book written by the two, with a signing session. Both have recently become targets of criticism from the Paulsonian norm.
Nicolás was targeted by federal MP Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) last week. The son of the former Planalto president posted a message on his networks in which he accused the Minas Gerais state politician of trying to get rid of his father.
“The battle on the right that everyone sees is simple. Nicolás wants to get rid of Bolsonaro once and for all. He leads the opposition, and many young politicians are with him. The problem? The usual: ‘We have to get rid of Pozo without losing voters.'” “They want to continue being elected by Bolsonaro’s supporters, but they no longer want to be accountable to Bolsonaro,” reads the post published by Eduardo.

The prior nomination of Chancellor Carlos Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) to the Senate of Santa Catarina is the cause of the crisis. Bolsonaro’s children called Campagnolo a liar when she stated that the state’s two PL seats for the Senate had already been promised to Representative Caroline Di Toni (PL-SC) and Senator Esperidião Amin (PP-SC).
The representative also took a position against the candidacy of former president’s son Jair Bolsonaro (PL), and said, despite being from the former president’s base, that she would only support local names for the Senate.
Unlike the MP, Nicholas avoided speaking about the matter publicly. The parliamentarian, who is considered one of Bolsonaro’s main allies, had previously been accused of not using his social media appearance to benefit the former president.
