Bolsonarians pursue priest who sneaked into vigil out of curiosity about ‘masterstroke’ and sermon

Ismael LopezThe man who pretended to be a priest and boycotted a vigil for Flavio Bolsonaro on Saturday is receiving a flurry of messages – including from supporters of the former president – many of which do not come across in an aggressive tone.

According to him, part of Bolsonaro’s supporters themselves sought him out to understand the motivation behind the speech and, essentially, the biblical basis used in the attack on Bolsonaro.

Leftist activist’s comments:

— There are people on the right who send me strange messages, and they want to understand the context within the Bible.

Ismail claims that he went to the concert just to record a joke and leave, but changed his mind when he heard what was being said on stage. He looked for security, asked to talk, and ended up falling behind the schedule because there was only a priest missing.

The words are quoted from Ecclesiastes 10:1-8: “Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and whoever digs a hole in a wall will be bitten by a serpent.” The unusual thing is that the Allies initially thought he was referring to… Lola. A masterstroke that was planned minutes before he took the microphone.

During the riots, Flavio Bolsonaro asked the public not to attack him. However, not everyone listened to the senator. Ismail was attacked and filed a police report for bodily harm and attempted lynching.

According to the activist, he thought of everything on his own at the last minute, without coordination with the Social Participation Council of the Presidency of the Republic, a body of which he is a member and which Lula created to bring together representatives of civil society and social movements in a space for direct dialogue with the Presidency.
