Registration is open for the Seventh Call for Educational Journalism, implemented by Jeduca (Association of Educational Journalists). The prizes are R$4,500 (first place), R$3,000 (second place) and R$1,500 for third place. You can register until January 31st.
The award, which is held in partnership with Fundação Itaú, recognizes works completing training courses (TCCs) that have general basic education or educational journalism as main subjects.
TCCs will be accepted in various formats such as report books, radio programmes, documentaries or monographs.
TCCs may have been performed individually, in pairs, or in groups. In this case, the work must be registered by a representative, and the value of the prize is the same. The notice is valid for works defended in the years 2025, 2024 and 2023.
The evaluation criteria are: originality, quality and social relevance. The jury consists of journalists Denis Chiarato, Eduardo Girac, Marta Avancini, Riccardo Valzetta and Rodrigo Ratier.
