Brigitte Bardot was hospitalized again a few weeks later. The local press reported that the 91-year-old French film star has been in Saint-Jean Hospital in Toulon, France, for about ten days. In October, the actress was hospitalized for a period due to a “minor surgery” she underwent. She left the hospital at that time on October 17.
The artist was admitted to the same hospital where she underwent the operation last month. At the time, information circulated that Bardot’s health condition was “worrying,” but she denied those rumors on social media after she left the hospital.
She posted: “I don’t know who is the idiot who spread this fake news about my disappearance, but I know that I am fine and I have no intention of saying goodbye.”
With a CV that includes nearly 50 films and 70 songs, she has dedicated herself to animal rights since 1973. A few weeks ago, the actress released a book called “BBcédaire”, in which she recorded her opinions on the most diverse topics – some of them controversial – in a record set between 2020 and 2025.
She is best known for titles such as Roger Vadim’s And God Created Woman and Jean-Luc Godard’s Contempt, but away from the big screen for 50 years, she is also remembered today for her animal rights activism.
