On Monday evening (11/24), Internacional tied with its guest, Santos, 1 x 1, in the Brazilian Championship, at Beira Rio Stadium. After the match, Ramon Diaz and his son Emiliano praised the team’s attitude and stressed that Colorado is still alive in the competition.
“The hope that gives the team and these players is the way they played today. Because in this final plot, it is mentally and physically complex and the pressure is on. I believe that Inter is alive, not dead, it is alive. Regarding situations, how we create, and how we play. “We are not afraid because we have to compete until the end and we will compete,” the Colorado coach said.

In total, Inter had 24 shots, but managed only one goal in the match. When asked about the number of opportunities, the coach expressed his regret for the missed opportunities.
“It was an incredible number of situations and we couldn’t complete (scoring the goal). That’s our commitment, to work with them to give them peace of mind, so they can really resolve situations when we have situations. It’s a shame, because they played a great game, especially in the first half,” commented the captain.

Finally, Emiliano Diaz was asked about the reasons that led to Colorado’s decline in performance in the second half of the match.
“I think today was disappointing because we created a lot and played a lot. I think since we were here this was our best first half, I think after Botafogo. We dominated a lot and you go and look and create and they only had one chance, they shot from outside and it was a goal”, concluded Emiliano.
