“The defense says the discovery that she had been betrayed by Tony traumatized Day. After being convicted of cutting off her partner in prison, she received her first visit from Tony after the crime.”
The crime, which gained repercussions throughout the country, occurred in December 2023, in the quiet city of Atibaia, within the state of São Paulo. Diane dos Santos Farias, known as Day, was sentenced to 4 years and 8 months in prison, for cutting off the penis of Gilberto Nogueira de Oliveira, known as Tony, after discovering the infidelity of her niece, who was only 15 years old.
