A new era is coming for fans of yellow stone. Taylor Sheridan’s original series may have ended abruptly due to Kevin Costner’s departure, but it left enough characters to nurture new spin-off series such as Marshals: A History of Yellowstone (Y: Marshals).
The first spin-off set after the end of yellow stone focuses on Kayce Dutton, Luke Grimes’ character who plays a decisive role in the end of the titular ranch. Freed from the weight of responsibility that has weighed on her family for generations, Kayce seeks a new purpose in life.

The series will shift focus within the Yellowstone Universeadopting a format more similar to procedural productions, perhaps more in line with Lionessalso by Taylor Sheridan, with a closer story in its first season.
Marshals: A History of Yellowstone It already has a release date
Just yesterday, SkyShowtime confirmed that the series starring Luke Grimes would be one of the additions to the catalog in 2026, although it did not give a specific date because it depended on the CBSthe string that will output Marshals: A History of Yellowstone in the United States.
Today the official trailer for the series arrives, offering us a good look at Kayce Dutton’s future after the family disaster and, in fact, confirming the release date of the spin-off in the United States on March 1, 2026. It will likely be a few days at least before the series arrives on SkyShowtime.
In addition to Grimes, the series will feature the return of other Yellowstone stars such as Gil Birmingham, Brecken Merrill and Mo brings Plenty, who return to play Thomas Rainwater, Tate Dutton and Mo, respectively.
