The short post-holiday week will keep good weather and high temperatures in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA), which will continue to rise between now and the weekend.
The National Meteorological Directorate expected the weather on Wednesday to be partly cloudy during the early morning hours, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon and evening. Thermal marks will be between 18 and 31 degrees, reinforcing the feeling of heat that has dominated the past few days.
As for Thursday, conditions will remain stable. The sky will be partly cloudy throughout the day, with clouds increasing in density as the evening approaches. Temperatures will remain within high values this time, with a minimum of 19 degrees and a maximum that will once again touch 31 degrees.
The good weather continues on Friday, with a slight drop in temperatures. The day will start with mostly cloudy skies, then become partly cloudy starting in the afternoon, and record temperatures will range between 20 and 27 degrees.
SMN estimates that the change will occur on Saturday, when rainfall returns to the AMBA region. On that day, scattered rain is expected during the early morning hours, then give way to scattered storms in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will drop significantly, ranging between 17 and 21 degrees.
Meanwhile, weather warnings about storms are in effect for the interior of the country. Mendoza is under an orange alert due to strong events that can include strong wind gusts, hail and heavy rain in short periods. Neuquén, Saint-Louis and La Pampa remain under yellow alert, with the possibility of storms of varying intensity and electrical activity.
