Copies of the game are sold separately and in the Ultimate Edition bundle
CD Projekt Red announced today that Cyberpunk 2077 has sold over 35 million copies. Exactly one year ago, sales of the game reached 30 million, meaning another 5 million copies have been sold since then.
The figure, which was revealed in the company’s financial report covering the third quarter of 2025, includes copies of the game sold separately and in the Ultimate Edition bundle until November 26, 2025.

The success of Cyberpunk 2077 is the result of a lot of effort and overcoming by CD Projekt, after one of the most turbulent launches ever seen in the gaming industry, where the game faced numerous issues and became practically unplayable in the console versions.
It was also reported that the number of people working on the company’s upcoming games has increased. The Witcher 4 team, currently the studio’s flagship project, rose from 444 to 447 people, Cyberpunk 2 jumped from 116 to 135 people, Project Sirius (the multiplayer spin-off of The Witcher) jumped from 51 to 56 people, and Project Hadar (the new IP) jumped from 22 to 29 people.
It is worth noting that there is also a new version of the first The Witcher game in production, with it expected that it will not be released until after The Witcher 4.
