The Natal Ypê 2025 edition consolidates São Paulo’s interior as an end-of-year destination by offering a free Christmas route between November 28 and December 24 in the gardens of the company’s manufacturing complex in Amparo (SP).
The program transports municipalities in the region and welcomes families from different cities in São Paulo and other parts of the country, strengthening the event’s role in the local cultural calendar. It is expected that the number of visitors will exceed 100,000, exceeding more than 90,000 in 2024.
This event has been held for more than three decades, and occupies about 4,000 square meters of the outdoor area of the factory complex, and has been transformed into a themed path with scenes that combine memory, cultural elements and a Christmas atmosphere. The proposal is to provide an accessible experience to the public during the festive period.
The circle contains spaces with different themes. The visitor begins the journey through a large book showcasing sustainability-related initiatives and continues to the “Memory Tree” that collects company records since the 1950s.
The path progresses through environments that reference R&D and different moments in local history. One of the focal points is Casa do Noel, which playfully mimics the routine of a factory.
The 2025 edition is in line with the 75th anniversary of the company, founded in 1950, and pays tribute to the regions in which it operates its industrial operations: Amparo and Salto (SP), Extrema and Itajuba (MG), Simoes Filho (BA), Itapisuma (PE), Anapolis and Goiânia (GO). The scenes dedicated to these sites reinforce the historical relationship with the communities that have hosted the event over the years.
According to Mariana Nunes, Ypê’s Director of Social Responsibility, the cultural axis remains the focus of the initiative. “This year’s Ypê Christmas, in addition to creating scenarios that convey messages of love, hope and peace, will share with visitors curious and interesting highlights about the company’s history, especially in caring for people and the planet,” he says.
The program includes the presence of Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, elves, “noeletes” and mascots, who interact with the audience throughout the arena. The highlight is the musical “Jardim de Histórias – Christmas Musical Ypê”, which is shown in the gardens. The narrative follows the story of two characters who, on Christmas Eve, receive a visit from a robot and go on a journey that connects the past and the future.
In addition to the musical, the program includes a Christmas band performance on Friday at 8 p.m. The show takes place on Saturdays, Sundays, December 22, 23 and 24, also at 8pm. Santa Claus’s house is open until 10 p.m., with visits on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the event of rain, the program may be temporarily suspended. Pet Friendly Event: Pets are welcome and must be carried in decorated areas.
