The game
In the first half, Bragantino executed and was better. With Massa Brotta nearly 70% of possession, he had more control of the ball and finished off attacks three times. The best of them came at the age of 22, when Gustavo Neves received it from Beta and asked goalkeeper Breno to make a good save.
By 20 minutes into the second half, the home team had already finished more than the entire first half and had clear scoring chances. At the ninth hour, Sasha received the ball on the edge of the small area and it hit the crossbar.
Even with this initial pressure from the home team, it was Fortaleza who opened the scoring. Breno Lopez received the ball on the left side of the attack, cut it to the baseline and passed it to the middle of the area. Pochettino moved back, Crespem finished, and the ball hit Adam Barreiro’s knee and slotted into the net.
