Flying High is the name of the methodology used by Senac RJ to encourage students from different courses to think together and look for solutions to something proposed.
The goal is to show that solutions come from the inside out. Together, we can come up with ideas and find solutions to the problems around us – explains Co-Creation Team Coordinator of Cápsula-Centro de Inovação Senac RJ, Catarina Bey.
The methodology proposed a challenge to groups of students, whose task was to collect ideas for solutions, reach consensus and choose one of them to move towards prototyping. In this final stage, 3D printers were used.
— We wanted to encourage young people to leave here and test ideas, and make them understand that they can follow this process whenever they encounter a problem to solve — says Katarina, adding that the ability to solve problems is one of the most valuable soft skills of professionals today. — With this, they are able to consider themselves valuable people in the world and in the labor market. They already have the tools within them to find solutions. Technology is another complement.
Psychology student Hiago Gonçalves, 21, was one of those who took part in the immersive activity, which was rated positive.
-I came to learn more about entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, and other technologies that I didn’t know existed, as well as listen to conversations about trends and decision-making. Psychology is very much associated with the old world, so I think it’s important to combine that with the new world. It becomes a differentiator in the market.
