Zima does not back down and defends right-wing names and refuses to “split” the votes

In light of Cuiabá, Minas Gerais governor and former presidential candidate Romeo Zema (Novo) announced that he has no plans to back away from his 2026 electoral project, and encouraged that “right-wing governors” have full capacity to make their projects viable.

According to him, there is no fear of the right-wing votes being dispersed with multiple candidates, so he stressed that the group is united and will support whoever qualifies for the second round against the name of the left.

“(Bolsonaro) himself supports and supports the issue of having two or four names. It is logical that one of these will become his favorite, the chosen name, and he supports it.
