A reserve sergeant from the Military Brigade was run over by a driver who was fleeing after he attacked his partner. After the domestic violence incident, the attacker began persecuting the soldier, who he believed had some involvement with the assaulted woman. The crime occurred on Wednesday (26/11) in Passo Fundo (RS).

The surveillance camera recorded the moment the car collided directly with the sergeant and threw him into a commercial establishment. After the collision, the driver got out of the car, picked up the soldier’s gun – which had fallen on the ground – and tried to fire, but was only able to fire one bullet.

At the driver’s address, the Military Brigade found the truck used in the attack. The police found sharp weapons inside the car parked on a public street.
The attacker has not yet been found, and the case is still under investigation by the Rio Grande do Sul Civil Police.
