A woman named Paulian Franca Gomez, known as the “Crime Siren”, was arrested with R$190,000 in cash. Appointed as a lawyer for a criminal faction, she was arrested in El Salvador on Thursday (27/11).

According to Bahia’s civil police, Bolian had an intimate relationship with the group’s leader, Leandro de Conceicao Santos Fonseca – known as Shantaram, who is currently detained in the high-security Sirinha prison, about 190 kilometers from the capital of Bahia.
According to investigations, Boulian was responsible for relaying strategic orders, reorganizing areas, formulating charges, and maintaining direct contact between inmates and commanders operating outside the prison.

Operation Queen of the South:
- The action was initiated by the Specialized Department for Investigation and Suppression of Drug Trafficking (Dinark).
- The goal is to dismantle the financial and coordination center of a criminal organization operating in Bahia.
- The faction has contacts with organizations in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
- 14 arrest warrants and 25 search and seizure warrants were issued in Bahia, Pernambuco, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Paraná.
- Three of the targets have already been arrested.
In Bahia, the investigated persons worked as regional managers in the regions of Vieira de Santana, Lauro de Freitas, Camasari and Salvador, among other cities.
In addition to the arrests, the court ordered the freezing of R$100 million in bank accounts and prohibited the use of assets worth approximately R$1 million.
