What can we expect in Frankie and the Monsters

The film’s plot puts a curious twist on the Frankenstein myth by making the monsters afraid of humans and the latter being the villains of the story, and not the other way around.

Under this premise, we follow the story of Frankie, a human-looking young man raised by a crazy professor. Despite having his face covered in stitches, the boy is far from scary, but he has a big heart.

The young man ends up in the sights of the owner of a monster circus, who Frankie is taken to be part of a new attraction that will once again attract crowds.

“High above the city of Tarados de Arriba, a laboratory castle holds secrets, creatures… and a little hero who is about to change everything. Frankie, is the first creation of the craziest of crazy professors, a tiny being, bald head covered in a mosaic of dots, hypnotic eyes and a big heart.

Who takes care of the castle? Who takes care of the monsters? Who teaches them not to be monstrous, so that the townspeople do not form an angry horde and burn the castle? Frankie does all the work, but the teacher doesn’t even notice him.

Now, an original show is coming to town, and its owner, Boniface Monster Hunter, desperately needs a new attraction to draw the crowds.
