Alberto Nunez Viejo called for a Sunday march at Madrid’s Debod Temple against corruption, referring directly to President Pedro Sanchez.

The call arose after the imprisonment of former Minister José Luis Abalos and his former advisor Koldo García, cases that Figo links to the alleged deterioration in Sánchez’s environment.

Figo stresses that the protest is open to all citizens and does not respond to the interests of any party, and he expects leaders from other parties, such as Fox, to attend.

Alberto Nunez Viejo called for a march on Sunday at the Debod Temple in Madrid “against the corrupt and those who support them,” referring to Pedro Sanchez, “the apple who corrupted everything and everyone around him.”

This announcement comes after the imprisonment of former Minister Jose Luis Abalos and his former advisor Koldo Garcia.

In a press conference from Genoa, the leader of the People’s Party stressed that what happened on Thursday was not an “isolated event,” but rather part of a “deterioration” that, in his opinion, has accompanied the president “since before he came to power.”

“When all those who raised him go to prison, Sanchez must leave Moncloa,” Figo added.

The protest will be open to “all citizens” and does not respond to “the interests of any party.” He added: “The government calls on Spaniards to protest against the judges, and I call on them to do so against the corrupt.”

The People’s Party expects leaders from other parties, including Vox, to attend.
