Brazilian striker Ryan Silva, a skilful left-footed winger with an explosive power that unbalances defences, is experiencing one of the most consistent moments of his career since his arrival at Polskie Kokier Kluchevia. Primarily playing on the right side, the player has played an integral role in the team’s attacking build-up and has established himself as one of the most important players in the team this season in the Polish Second League.
With 13 appearances, eight of them as a starter, and eight goals scored, Ryan not only assumed a starring role, but also became a technical reference for the team. His ability to win one-on-one duels, accelerate attacking transitions and finish with precision has been crucial to the team’s model of play.
– I like 1×1, I like making decisions and taking risks. “And here I found the freedom to do exactly that,” he said.
The striker’s path in Poland was marked by accelerated development. In a short time, he was able to adapt his style to the European rhythm, known for quick transitions, physical intensity and aggressive marking. According to him, the process took place this way only thanks to the group’s reception.
– My adaptation was very fast because my teammates really welcomed me. From day one I felt part of the environment, and that makes a big difference when it comes to performance on the pitch,” he explained.
However, Ryan realizes that everything was not simple. He had to adjust his routine to fit the reality of a colder, culturally distinct country with a difficult language.
The weather was the biggest shock at first. The language is also difficult, but I learn new words every day. “Today I feel 100% stable,” he added.
On the pitch, Kločevia has enjoyed a season of stability, which is typical for a club that has just promoted to the top division. Currently sitting in 11th place, the team is going through the natural process of adapting to a stronger league, but showing competitiveness in almost every match.
In this context, Ryan not only bore the artistic lead role, but also the emotional responsibility within the cast. The athlete reveals that he sought to improve in all aspects, from decisions with the ball to reading the match.
-I want to become a more complete player. I worked a lot on my decision-making, positioning and attacking aggressiveness. And the numbers show that I am on the right track – he analyzed.
Furthermore, the Brazilian has made clear an important personal goal, which is to fight for the top scorer spot in the tournament.
– I have ambition, and this is part of me. He said: I want to help the club, but I also want to compete for the Gunners and raise my level even further.
The growing importance of Polish football, the consistency on the pitch and the maturity shown throughout the season all reinforce that the striker is going through a phase of confirmation on the European stage. It seems that this is just the beginning.
-I’m very happy here. He concluded his speech by saying: “I feel appreciated, ready and motivated to do more.”
