A source told Reuters that Petrobras’ board of directors approved on Thursday investments worth $109 billion for the period between 2026 and 2030.
Shortly before, the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo mentioned in a report the same amount approved for the company’s investment plan.
The source told Reuters, on condition of anonymity, “It was approved and passed (by the board of directors) by an overwhelming majority at $109 billion… Everyone discussed, the board of directors got involved, and we agreed with the committees and boards of directors.”
