There has long been talk of an adaptation BRZRKRhe comic made by Keanu Reeves and Matt Kindt which became very popular around the world.
Its plot revolves around a powerful warrior named B (based on Reeves himself), who Possesses superhuman strength, speed, immortality, and a healing factor.
Born in antiquity, it was the answer to the prayers of a long-forgotten society, asking for a weapon to protect the locals, upon seeing a cosmic being impregnate a member of a nomadic tribe, resulting in B.
After forgetting his origins and discouraged by his condition, our protagonist He becomes a living weapon of the US government, carrying out dangerous missions while his handlers study him.. All of this with the aim of discovering the truth about his nature and, who knows, even becoming mortal and, finally, dying.
BRZRKR There will be an anime on Netflix
As collected CBR, Netflix prepares an anime series based on BRZRKRcomic book written by Keanu Reeves and Matt Kindt. This had been talked about for a long time, but only recently did the platform start to make the project official.
In March 2021, just as the first issue of the comic was released, it was announced that Netflix would produce a live-action film adaptation (in which Reeves will play B).
An anime sequel will follow that continues the story and also features the actor lending his voice to B, although it is unknown which part of each of their stories will adapt the comic book’s source material.
However, the media highlights that The anime series may debut before the planned live-action filmthen it would change the platform’s initial plans for the franchise.
