A 35-year-old man was arrested on Friday (28/11) for the murder of his ex-wife and mother-in-law. After committing the crime in the eastern region of the capital, São Paulo, on September 10 of this year, the suspect fled and has remained on the run since then. It was located in Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo.
The case was registered with the Eighth Police Station for the Defense of Women as a double murder of women. A representative involved in the investigation explained: “He used his four-month-old daughter, who was with him, as bait. He called his ex-partner to ask her to go get her daughter on pain of killing her child. The ex-wife then asked for her mother’s support. The two went to his house, where he stabbed them to death.”
The attacker, identified as Bruno, was previously responsible for a murder attempt against the ex-boyfriend of a former partner.

Double murder of women
