In Friday’s classification section, first place went to Oliver Goethe, who beat Leonardo Fornaroli by just 0s040, followed by Victor Martins in third. Stanek will start fourth, Don fifth, Montoya sixth, Tsolov seventh, Villagomez eighth, Doerksen ninth and Verschoor in the top ten.

Browning only finished 18th while Dunne got 5th and Verschoor 10th. Crawford, competing for first place in the championship, tried to get into the top 10, but was unable to improve and remained in 15th place.

The session ended at the checkered flag after a very busy qualifying. Goethe eventually took pole from Fornaroli, while Martins moved up to third. Verschoor still managed to get up to fourth before Fornaroli improved again.

Browning and Pejanovic started the final laps but fell behind in the first sector while Verschoor posted a better first lap. Earlier, Pejanovic scored one minute and 36.826 seconds, while Browning was sixth and Crawford was fourth.

With 10 minutes to go, most drivers returned with new soft tires in search of up to three fast laps. Fornaroli arrived at the Purple Sector, but was unable to turn it into a better time. Other attempts were also halted as the drivers returned to the pits.

Goethe continued to improve, rising from fourth to second before taking over the lead. Martins also managed to improve, moving from sixth to fifth.

In the end, Leonardo Fornaroli temporarily regained the lead with a time of 1:37.850, but Gothe overtook him again, securing a 1-2 win for MP Motorsport with Verschoor just behind him. Martins still posted a 1:37.512, but it wasn’t enough to stay in the top three.
