Simone Mendes, who recently went viral for preferring not to wear panties, made an even more shocking revelation in a recent interview on Thursday (11/27): that she has actually been handcuffed and arrested in the US.
In an interview with Angelica, the singer recalled that when she was 15 years old she participated in singer Frank Aquiar’s tour around the country, and that before performing in Miami, they ended up getting into trouble with the North American authorities.

“(The authorities) wanted to understand the offer he wanted to make, because we were minors,” Simon explained.
The musicians’ lack of English ended up becoming a major obstacle in communicating with the police. “I felt psychologically traumatized because I was in handcuffs and chains on my feet,” recalls Simon, who spent the night in detention.
Today, rural women admit that they have already overcome the shock, and that they make constant visits to the foreign country. “The second time we had to go back, it was peaceful, and today I’m the mayor of Orlando,” she joked.
