On Thursday afternoon (11/27), QI 28 at Lago Sul took on a more special atmosphere. In her spacious and welcoming residence, known as London House, Carla Fonseca de Araujo Jorge opened the doors for a women-only Christmas lunch. The meeting, which her closest circle had already been anticipating, reinforced the hostess’s brand: celebration of life, genuine affection and meticulous attention to detail.
London House
Excited for Christmas and good company, Carla gathered dear friends together for a toast to friendship and the end of another cycle. While she spends long periods of time outside of Brasilia, splitting her routine between the capital and Rio de Janeiro, she made sure to lovingly select the products she wanted to find before heading to Rio for the summer. The warm welcome began right at the door: as usual, the hostess personally waited for each guest, hugging them joyfully.

Stunning decor and festive atmosphere
In partnership with florist Higor Lima, Carla transformed the property into a real Christmas setting. Huge arrangements of flowers and foliage harmonious with colorful fruits greeted the guests. The decoration covered all the spaces, as trees, wreaths and bows were distributed throughout the house, which is magic in itself that dazzled everyone.
Rich in detail, this table set enhances the festive and welcoming atmosphere, combining sophistication and the joy of history.

A list of affectionate and family memories
Christmas lunch was provided by Federal Buffet, carefully selected by Carla, who has a degree in gastronomy and a passion for the foods typical of the season. Turkey, ham, farofa, fruits and traditional flavors evoked family memories and created a cozy atmosphere. For the hostess, the Christmas kitchen carries a unique meaning:
He stressed, “It is an emotional memory. It is foods that remind us of our grandmothers, our families, and this love that Brazilians have for their families.”

The afternoon of the reunion
Between the smiles, hugs and long conversations, the afternoon was marked by good energy and connections that spanned the decades. Friend Irani Popil commented on the strange charm of social events in Brasilia:
“Here we always meet people we know, even when we don’t live closely. There is a closeness, a history, and cycles that intersect with each other for many years. It’s always fun.”
The atmosphere was enthusiastic among the guests, who were happy to celebrate Carla’s presence in the city and enjoy her company before the start of the season in Rio.

Meaning of Christmas according to the hostess
During her speech, Carla thanked everyone for their attendance and spoke emotionally about her relationship with the appointment.
“I’m excited about Christmas because it represents rebirth. And in modern times, rebirth means reinvention. I really believe in this: reinvent yourself, adapt, and improve as a human being. Christmas has that message.”
He wished good health, peace, harmony, common sense and moderation for the year 2026, and ended the toast with a standing ovation that reflected the warm atmosphere that characterized the entire meeting.
The Christmas lunch hosted by Carla Fonseca de Araujo Jorge proved, once again, that traditions gain more sparkle when they are celebrated with loved ones. It was a day of shared memories, good enthusiasm and renewed connections, just as the most special time of the year demands.
